Waterfall, that we have built, became quite an ambitious project. Rock’s height is 8m, width consists 15m. Water flows down from the height of 5 meters. It passes a couple of cascades and falls into the swimming pool. What we have done in the area was not just simply interior finishing of the swimming pool, but establishing an integral composition with artificial rocks that add to the natural ambience created inside the fitness club.
Metal framework lies in the foundation of the stone composition. Diving board was partly removed, its remains stayed inside the construction. All finishing works were completed by our experts : sculptors and artists. Light stones remind you of rocks frequent in southern countries. Our artists have deliberately chosen that color and texture as swimming pool was ment to become recreational zone. Water streaks on rocks and color transitions are manually created. Artists use water and light-resistant paints, hence high humidity of the area has no impact on the quality of the final product.
Apart from installing art-concrete objects, we have painted ceilings and walls. Trees and sky depicted on walls successfully complement artificial rocks and create a sense of perspective.
Rocks with flowing water were decorated with aquatic plants: at the upper level we have placed fake plants and within hands reach we decided to go for live plants. The texture of rocks and plants is highlighted by built-in lights. We have also installed lighting in the walking passage, that was cut through the rock boulder.
It was our idea to incorporate passage into the composition. This design solution not only diversifies the landscape. Besides having purely decorative functions, passage has additional practical application: it facilitates movement inside the fitness club and connects different parts of the swimming pool. Walls and ceilings of the passage are faced with artificial stones. Hence, it seems as if the passage was hacked through the rock boulder. Stone vaults are spectacularly illuminated with warm lighting.
Apart from the number of artistic tasks, our team has faced another technical challenge: water should be taken from water supply system and then immediately returned to its original source. In order to do so we have done tie-in lines and installed 4 water pumps that deliver water for different levels of the waterfall. As the water descends a series of rocky steps, the stream gets more intense when extra amount of water is added.

One can easily change and adjust lightings and water curtain by turning on and off water pumps in various combinations. We have led control of pumping system and the lighting of the waterfall to a special dashboard.

After several months of hard and at the same time exciting work, we have presented to the customers art-objects that looked as if nature-born. The entire process of decoration including high cascade waterfall with mighty rocks and modern technical solutions was carried out by our experts! Perhaps, it’s one of the most fancy private swimming pools, where you can spend time near the waterfall.
